Chamber Committees

Legislative Committee: Works proactively with local, county, state and federal officials on issues that affect the Ellwood City area. The Committee advocates on behalf of the business community and advises the Chamber Board on any action to be taken concerning legislative issues. This committee also works with area borough and township officials to identify potential sites for industrial development; to promote a forum for local industries to address common issues; and to encourage area manufacturers to actively participate in the Chamber.

 

Marketing Committee: Assesses area assets and promotes awareness of what is available locally to potential residents, visitors, and businesses. This committee creates ways to promote the community in an effort to attract new business to our community.

 

Membership Committee: Addresses the interests and needs of members and identifies opportunities which will benefit and expand the membership. This committee also develops and promotes new services as another means of attracting new members.
