A Note from the Executive Director:
“By now, many of you have heard that I have resigned as the Executive Director of the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce. This isn’t a decision I made lightly. I have loved leading the Chamber of Commerce in new directions and enjoyed working with a wonderful Board of Directors.
My family situation, however, has changed in recent months and I can no longer give the Chamber the attention it deserves. Night and weekends need to be dedicated to my family, which requires traveling frequently out of the county. It makes it almost impossible to attend the many evening and weekend events, openings and other activities that are integral to being the Executive Director.
I have accepted a position that allows me the flexibility I need with my weekends free. I believe it will be a rewarding and challenging position that will be a better fit for both myself and my family.
I wish the members, Directors and employees of the Chamber all the best. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you to improve Ellwood City and promote our businesses. I would also like to thank Mayor Anthony Court, Borough Manager Bob Villella and the entire Borough Council for working closely with the Chamber on a number of issues. When everyone comes together, we can accomplish great things. That is very evident in Ellwood City!
Thank you, everyone, for making my tenure at the Chamber a rewarding one.”
