Member Referrals

Chamber of Commerce businesses, members, and staff are always ready to refer businesses to others in need of services and products.  Shopping locally brings smiles to both a consumer and retailers face and is a great way to offer member-to-member discounts. Shopping locally is what keeps local businesses around.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies & Press Releases

The Chamber of Commerce can help coordinate ribbon cutting ceremonies and grand opening events for new businesses. At your ribbon cutting, representatives of the Chamber, the Mayor of Ellwood City and others will be in attendance to wish you well and welcome your business to our community. A photographer will be on hand and our office will issue a Press Release regarding your opening to all area media outlets, including newspapers, quarterlies and websites. Is your company launching a new product, expanding its market or participating in a charity event? Our professional media writer will craft and issue a Press Release for you!

Business Profiles

When a new member company joins the Chamber, we post a business profile on the Chamber website, including contact information and a brief bio. We also regularly profile member businesses on the Chamber of Commerce website, the Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook and Instagram pages, and in our newsletter. Business profiles include photographs of the business and their employees, owners or products taken by a professional photographer. It’s a great way to get your company’s name in front of the community and generate new interest in your products or services.

B2B Networking Opportunities

The Chamber hosts a variety of business networking opportunities throughout the year, including Multi-Chamber networking events, business seminars, young professionals’ events and more.

The Chamber has Monthly Board and Networking Meetings. At your request, we can have that meeting at your place of business. Afterwards, a business social mixer can be a good way for you to meet other business members in the community who are very much interested in your success. Other business members in attendance will find out more about you and your business for recommendations in the community.

Annual Activities & Events

Many Chamber activities and events are well attended, organized and beneficial to our members. The events are a great way to get involved in your local community. Workplace Wellness

Workplace wellness refers to the education and activities that a worksite may do to promote healthy lifestyles to employees and their families.  Examples of wellness programming include such things as health education classes, subsidized use of fitness facilities, internal policies that promote healthy behavior, and any other activities, policies or environmental changes that affect the health of employees.  Wellness programs can be simple or complex.  Many programs require a minimal investment of time and money.  More substantial programs often use more resources, but the many benefits to supporting and encouraging employee health and safety outweigh the costs.
