Fitzgibbon Meadery is Ellwood City's first and only award-winning maker of mead (honey wine) and fruit wines. Our micro-winery was founded by an Ellwood native and his wife who make all their meads and wines right in Ellwood. We pride ourselves on using as much local honey and fruits from local farms and apiaries as we possibly can. Come and see us in our tasting room where you can taste our current flavors, pick up bottles of your favorite meads and wines, sit down for a Flight of the Valkyries (4 sampler flight), or go crazy and join the Crew of the Maximus (10 sampler flight). We also carry Viking drinking horns, t-shirts with our lovable characters (all drawn by the mead-maker), cutting boards, and other wine and mead related merch.
