What Do Our Members Have to Say About Us?

What a wonderful group of people! Truly, the board, the staff, they are all working together to create new ideas and really striving to bring the best out in Ellwood City! Thank you for all of your hard work. Ellwood City is blessed to have a knowledgeable, active chamber like you! Keep it up!

Our ECACC membership has provided opportunities to promote our services in the Ellwood City area and to meet other businesses, learn about their products and keep our purchases local when possible.  Serving on the Board has been a privilege and a growth experience.  We are a hardworking board and by serving with fellow members, I’ve established business relationships and friendships that will outlast my Term of Service.

In my early days of my role as a Board Member and a member representing my employer, I had the privilege of hearing Barb McNees, Executive Director of the Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce describe the major role of the chamber organization as “The Doors of the Community it Serves”.  I still believe that today and can attest to the fact that the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce fulfills that role every day of the year with its commitment to the retail sector, industrial members, non-profit organizations, as well as citizens of the community by the many ways the Chamber is involved in activities, services, programs, and the manner in which it promotes the good that all contribute.

Former Representative, ESB Bank (Now known as WesBanco)

It has been my pleasure to serve on the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce  Board of Directors since 2004. We work hard as well as laugh hard, too! The Chamber is instrumental in the revitalization of the Ellwood community and bringing businesses together. It has been a pleasure working with such a devoted and caring group.

Executive Director, Lawrence County Tourist Promotion Agency

The Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce serves its members well.  It works very hard to provide leadership from a very diverse group of Directors, promote businesses and is very involved in community events.  As a Director, I have always appreciated the “team” atmosphere and enthusiasm provided on a daily basis.  It just makes sense to be a member of the Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce.

Being a member of the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce has been very beneficial to our company. Attending the educational seminars, from healthcare to marketing, has empowered us to be more successful, and along the way we have made many new friends.

Signs by Sam has been a member of this Chamber for many many years.  We’ve seen all sorts of changes in personnel, events, plans, locations, etc.  We were thrilled to get the opportunity to make and install the sign at their new location on Lawrence Avenue. We must say, there is something very special about our Chamber the past few years….there is without a doubt a new sense of camaraderie.

Serving on the Board for the ECACC has provided me with valuable knowledge and updates regarding our area businesses, including some that I never knew existed.  I highly recommend contacting the Chamber with any questions pertaining to available services and products for both personal and professional needs.  You will be pleasantly surprised at how many specialty enterprises that we have locally!

The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to its community.  When my husband and I opened our Aflac office downtown, the Chamber hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and sent out a press release to help publicize our business.  That helped us quickly establish our presence in town.  Since we opened, we have had an opportunity to work closely with other businesses and give back to the community.  That’s what the Chamber is all about. We are thankful for the support we have received from the Chamber of Commerce.  We look forward to being part of the revitalization of our hometown.
